Q&A: Get to Know Kelly

When you’re not practicing law, what do you enjoy doing?

I love playing with my dog, Sandy! She made me to learn how to throw a frisbee, but I can’t manage to teach her to give it back. When she’s napping, I like to play all types of games – board games, card games, video games – all of them!

What’s your go-to snack?

McDonalds french fries, hands down. Whether you’re having a bad day and they give you a much needed pick-me-up or a good day and they make it even better, you can’t go wrong.

What’s a message that resonates with you?

From one of my favorite movies – “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” It keeps me motivated when things get hard and reminds me that if you don’t try because you’re worried you’ll fail, you’ll never succeed. If you can’t beat the fear, do it scared!
